Oppo phones are smartphones produced by the Chinese company Oppo.
This guide will show you how you can fix the issue when your Oppo device does not receive notifications about new incoming calls or messages.
Applicable to all OPPO smartphones.
Instructions
If your phone cannot receive notifications, please try the following steps:
Check the phone’s settings
Firstly, navigate to your phone’s SIM info & settings and make sure that Wi-Fi Calling option is turned On.
2. Then, navigate to the Ringotel app settings → Battery usage and enable all option there.
3. Return to the app settings and navigate to Manage Notifications. Enable Notification for call and Notification for message. Enable “Ringtone“ and “Vibrate“.
Check the version of the application
Check if there are any updates to the application and download the latest version in Play Store. Check if the problem persists after the installation of the latest version.
Disabling advanced battery optimization
Disable it by going to Settings >> Battery >> Battery optimization >> Select Advanced Optimization (Selection appears after clicking on the 3 dots on right hand corner), disable Advanced Optimization.)
System Update
Go to Settings → System Updates or Software Updates on some devices to check the system version and update it to the latest version.
