Follow these steps to register a 3CX extension with Ringotel:

  1. Disable the "Block remote non-tunnel connections" option in the 3CX user settings (Options -> Options):

  1. Configure an IP Phone for a user:

Check “I will configure the phone myself“ and click Next. Then click Add Phone button to add an IP Phone to a user.

  1. Creating a Ringotel connection. Sign in to the Ringotel portal and proceed to create a new organization if you haven't done so already. Provide the organization with a name, domain, and region. Next create a new connection where specify connection settings to your 3CX instance.

Please ensure that you enter your 3CX extension registration correctly in your Ringotel admin portal.

Remember, the SIP username should match the extension number. Next, from your 3CX IP Phone Provisioning settings, copy the Authentication ID and input it into the Authorization name field in Ringotel. Similarly, take the Authentication Password from your 3CX IP Phone Provisioning settings and enter it into the SIP Password field in Ringotel.

Complete the process above for each extension that you wish to register with Ringotel.

Firstly, ensure that “Block remote phones using stun“ and “Block Remote Tunnel Connections“ options are disabled in your 3CX extension settings (Extension -> Options -> Restrictions), as they blocks external registrations:

Also, depending on your 3CX deployment option, you may need to allow WAN connections.

Lastly, ensure that you are entering your 3CX extension registration correctly in your Ringotel admin portal.

Note that the SIP username should be the same as the extension number. Take Authorization name and SIP Password from your 3CX extension Phone Provisioning settings.
