Messages sent via SIP SIMPLE from SIP endpoint registered via Terminal Password are not received on Ringotel app
Problem
Extension 1002 is registered on a SIP endpoint via Terminal password. The messages sent via SIP SIMPLE to user 1001 (using Ringotel app) are not received.
Solution
The messages should be sent to MESSAGE sip:1001@orgdomain.ringotel.co, but instead they are sent to MESSAGE sip:1001@192.168.0.10. Please see an example below:
30/09 09.18.40.937 MESSAGE sip:1001@192.168.0.10 SIP/2.0
Call-ID: fkrviwxbghenuiqyteogwtwbuojkgappmhaxyhrkahbqybofni
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.0.10:5001;rport;branch=z9hG4bKe6c3a5f7-93d4-4748-8ff9-93874f7f0a8d
From: <sip:1002@orgdomain.ringotel.co>;tag=nehgwbly
To: <sip:1001@192.168.0.10>
CSeq: 3 MESSAGE
Max-Forwards: 70
User-Agent: <User-Agent>
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Length: 13
In this case, enabling SMS via SIP SIMPLE in the connection settings is not required.
