New and enhanced features

In the upcoming release, we have revamped the app's design and added some exciting features.

• App revamp: We have revamped the app design enhancing the experience. You will now find user and contact avatars consistently displayed on the left side of the app. Users and contacts without uploaded images now have default avatars with distinctive colors, making it easier to differentiate between them.

• New Enhanced Search: You asked many times for a more comprehensive search capability and we heard loud and clear. We are excited to introduce an enhanced search feature. With this update, you can now seamlessly search across all your contacts and conversations, including calls and chats, using specific keywords or phrases.

• Import and Export of Contacts: In this update, we have enhanced the contact import feature to provide clear feedback throughout the import process, including information about the number of contacts imported. Additionally, we've introduced the capability to export all your created or previously imported contacts into .csv or .vcf files.

Changes to existing features

• We added an additional option “Ignore the end call event from the headset“ to the Ringotel desktop (Windows) app Settings (Menu → Settings → General tab). With this option disabled, the Ringotel app will disregard the received end call HID commands from the headset. This helps to prevent situations where an incoming call on Teams terminates an active call on Ringotel.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where, after pressing the send button or hitting enter, the messages were disappearing without being sent to the subscriber.

• Fixed an issue where the initial messages were not syncing across the users in the SMS group.

• Other minor fixes and improvements.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue where the "Call Recording" feature was not working when the "Call settings" feature was disabled in the connection settings in the admin portal.

Version 4.8.06.03 - March 03, 2024

New features

• The app has now full emoji support with categories and recently sent section. Please note, due to the size of the full emoji package, this feature is only supported for the new installations (since v.4.8.xx.xx from January 17th) and not included in the updates.

Changes to existing features

• Added support for Jabra PRO devices (headset buttons interaction).

• In the audio conference profile panel, users' connection status changes in real-time, providing the option to remove specific users from the conference call.

• Users with multiple attached extensions can now right-click on the Speed Dial button and select “Dial as“ to select an extension from which to dial a number.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed an issue when a callee number was shown twice on the incoming call panel. It is now shows calling and called number.

• Fixed an issue when messages were not shown in the correct order in SMS chats.

• Fixed an issue when you enter text in the input field in one chat without sending it, then go to another chat, enter a second message there and send it, then after returning to the original chat, the input field does not respond to clicking and the previously typed text remains there all the time.

• Fixed an issue when JSON code is shown with the incoming SMS messages.

• Fixed show/hide list in the speed dial tab.
