Close CRM
Ringotel integration for Close CRM offers the following features:
Allows you to create and edit Lead and Contact Entities in Close CRM via the Ringotel app.
Due to Close CRM restrictions, the contact you wish to bring into Close CRM MUST have an email field filled, or the record will be created in Ringotel only.
Identifies contacts on incoming and outgoing calls.
Automatically creates Phone Call entities for incoming and outgoing calls.
Syncs call recording and call comment with the corresponding call activity record in CRM.
Provides links to open Phone Call and Contact entities from the Ringotel app.
Imports contacts from CRM into the Contact lists of Ringotel users.
Get the Client ID and Client Secret for the integration
Log in to Close CRM as an administrator and navigate to Settings → Developer → OAuth Apps and click on + Create App button.
In the new OAuth App settings, specify the name of the app and Redirect URL:
https://shell.ringotel.co/services/Close
When finished, click Create.
Note the Client ID and Client Secret of the created app, as the secret will only be visible until the page is closed.
Setting up the integration in Ringotel Shell Portal
Sign into your Ringotel admin portal and navigate to an organization → Integrations tab → click Enable Integration on the Close card.
Specify the Client ID and Client Secret copied from the previous step and enable the user permissions as needed. Click Save & Continue.
If the client ID and Secret are correct you will be redirected to the Close login page where after logging in the app will request access to the Organization in Close. To continue, click Allow.
If the integration settings were specified correctly, and permissions have been granted you should now be redirected back to your Ringotel admin portal to the next step where you need to link your Ringotel users with their Close CRM accounts.
Click Save changes. Now the integration should be configured for the linked users.
Import CRM contacts
The integration provides automatic contact identification on incoming calls. Additionally, you can import existing CRM contacts into the contact lists of the Ringotel users.
Navigate to your Organization → Contacts, then click Import button.
Switch to the Close tab, which should appear if the integration is successfully configured.
Â
Click the Next button to pull the list of CRM contacts.
Once the contacts are loaded, click the Import button to start the import. Depending on the number of contacts in your CRM, it may take some time to finish. You may close the window as the process will be finished in the background.
