How to show the Ringotel status in a branded status page

Question

What would be involved in getting the Ringotel status into a branded status page? There are some metrics we could add into our own page (like message delivery times and things like that) but it would also be good to display verbatim what you guys show in terms of uptime, but perhaps only for our region.

Answer

You can add Ringotel components to your own Statuspage. For this, you need to add a third-party component. According to the Atlassian document (https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/add-a-third-party-component/):

Third-party components are components that you can add to your page that reflect the status of external services. If your service is heavily dependent on a third-party component, you can add the component to your page and the status of that component will automatically be updated.

  1. Click Components from the left sidebar.

  2. Click the Third-party tab.

  3. Scroll through the list to find the Ringotel component.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Click the toggle to display the individual components within the Ringotel service.
