In Ringotel, it is possible to “attach“ unactivated extensions to the activated users to allow them to make and receive calls on behalf of multiple PBX extensions.

How to configure

To attach an extension to the existing activated user:

Open an activated extension’s menu and click Attach to user

In the list of activated users, select one to whom you would like to add an extension. Then click Confirm.

Once an extension has been attached successfully, the activated user will have the added extension(s) shown in parenthesis.

Note: After attaching, activated user will need to log out from the app and then login back again to apply changes.

You will see an error message if extension can not be attached to the user (e.g. SIP credentials are incorrect, or Timeout).
