Attempting to make a call from a IP Phone / Desk phone / SIP phone via the desktop app does not work
Problem
When attempting to initiate a call on a IP phone from the Ringotel desktop app, it gets a response “no answered”.
Troubleshooting
Firstly, to make calls from a IP Phone via the Ringotel desktop app, make sure that the IP phone is registered via Ringotel’s Terminal Password as described in this article: Connecting SIP Endpoints.
Once the IP phone is registered via Ringotel, make sure to switch to the desk phone mode in your Ringotel app. For this, after registering the IP Phone, in your Ringotel desktop app navigate to Menu and switch status to your IP phone model (e.g. Fanvil W610W

If this issue occurs when the IP phone is registered via TLS/SRTP, make sure your desk phone supports TLS/SRTP and it is enabled on the device.
